QEERI Corrosion Centre

The Corrosion Center at Qatar Environment & Energy Research Institute (QEERI), aims to serve as Qatar's hub for expertise in the field. QEERI's Corrosion Centre aims to be Qatar's first national-level centre, which focuses on solving corrosion challenges facing Qatar; the development of national standards for materials selection; the formulation of corrosion management plans; perform industrial-defined and research-driven studies, and provide training and certification of corrosion and materials engineers.

QEERI, which is part of Hamad bin Khalifa University, is the national research institute tasked with supporting Qatar in addressing its grand challenges related to energy, water, and environment. The institute's work is in line with the goals set forth by Qatar National Vision 2030 and is supported by Qatar Foundation Research, Development and Innovation.
